I have a question.......... Late last year or earlier this year?.... Al Jardine said he was still working on something for inclusion for 'Feel Flows'. I believe he was putting down a bass guitar part on 'Seasons In The Sun'? Is this correct, and was the new overdub used?

Getting another early question in since I'm still stuck on Great Britain.
I've heard the occasional rumblings about an end-of-year digital release. I'm wondering what the plans are for that right now. If it were to pan out, would it be a Sunshine Tomorrow 2 style release with more alternate mixes of songs on Feel Flows or would it be more like the now-missing 2019 EP which just contains the songs not on the box.
AMENDED EXTRA QUESTION: First of all, I'd like to thank you for putting this set together. The Dennis material was very anticipated and didn't let me down at all. The deconstructions were revelations in places. The little bits of studio chatter were a tantalising glimpse into that era of the Beach Boys.
Having powered my way through the box set I couldn't help but notice that on a few of the live tracks, studio recordings were flown in. People are saying that the Brian Wilson vocals on 1976 Back Home aren't what's sung on the circulating copy of that show and are rather and alternate lead from 15 Big Ones. Surf's Up sounds like it has "bygone" vocals were flown in from the studio recording. Disney Girls seems to have the studio whistling flown in.
I'm wondering why such changes were made. Was this a decision you made or was this a suggestion from the Beach Boys themselves?

Was there ever talks about releasing Sunflower and Surf's Up in 5.1 surround sound for the box set? It seems that those two albums would be perfect for that format.
And why were the albums only newly remastered and not remixed for Feel Flows?

Is there anything that we, as product buyers, can do to encourage the suits to go back and release a physical version of the 1968 set? There's a horrible gaping hole between "Sunshine Tomorrow" and "Feel Flows", and that '68 material is too good to be digital only. This is madness. Include a "Friends" album remix. I'll pay upfront. Thanks. XOXO

Hi Mark and Alan, great job on the box set. I noticed that a number of songs have had songwriting credits changed, such as Got To Know The Woman & Slip On Through to add Jakobson. How was it determined that he should be listed as a co-writer?

I heard about a Dennis track called "Just For You". Is there any plan to release it this year or next year?

Gentlemen, good evening! Fantastic work on Feel Flows, congratulations.
The instrumental track of When Girls Get Together 1:47, Disc 3, track 17. Was that the intended version that was banded for The Last Capitol Album (Reverberation)?

Does there exist a recording in the vault of "Feel Flows" that includes the "surface joy" lyrics found in the Surf's Up lyrics sheet?

Since we were talking about M.I.U. in the stream, does anyone think we'll ever see a clear release of the "Our Team" documentary (the making of the M.I.U. album)? I love that documentary and I wish a clear version would be officially made available.
Anyways, thanks for everything you guys do! This archival stuff is freaking awesome!!!

Mr. Boyd, thank you for taking my question:
May we expect to see a bonus track of late period Brian Wilson and Jan Berry in casual conversation?
yours, a fan

Hello Alan & Mark! I hope all is well! I cannot thank you enough for this fabulous set. Quick question. A few years ago, Howie gave a glowing review of a couple of tracks that didn’t end up making the new set. “This Whole World” alternate long version that features Mike Love singing the opening line & “4th Of July” with a six-string bass playing the song's melody. Just curious as to why they didn’t make the cut and if you think we will ever get to hear these? Thanks so much…

Hey Mark and Alan, glad to have you back! Very happy to hear that the Azoff deal has put a lot of needed attention towards the archival side of the group. Aside from the teased 1972 set, I'm really excited to hear what you guys can do with the myriad of Keepin' the Summer Alive outtakes (Al's "Surfer Suzie" seems really interesting from what I've read about it).
You guys were very recently able to retrieve the long-lost and long-fabeled "Sail On, Sailor" demo. That's some pretty fantastic news! How were you able to go about and start the process of re-acquiring that tape?

Hi! My name is Jeff Winner. 2 things:
First, Happy to know Adam Marsland is around here tonight — you guys should interview him next.
Secondly, when it's time for Alan Boyd to make the LOVE YOU box set, please promise us to include an edit of "Ding Dang" that's at least 20 minutes in duration.

To all of you, thanks so much for the care you have put into this incredible package. With so many obstacles that were in the way (COVID etc), this was something we all needed right about now. What a gift!

Mr Karma Frog,
I think so, but it will, by necessity, have to be the very last thing I do while officially working with the group.
Thank you for the question.

I haven't gotten my physical copy yet, but the DW Poops/Hubba Hubba material is off the charts beautiful. I wish Ecology didn't fade out quite so early, but it was probably mostly through. Incredible to finally hear that all completed.
