Alan, in the words of the 'world leader' Greta, 'How DAreee Youuu'! Attacked by one of my own, eoucha!
That's Ok, your forgiven, because I'm about to unleash 'MY' favorite least song in this collection, and it wont be favorable.
I'm glad this is all based on personal taste. But out goes..........'California Girls'. I'm no longer digging the girls, girls girls. It's been milked to death. I'm on team Brian a bit with the vocals in the chorus don't seem completely 'On'. The more I hear it, the more I 'HEAR' it is off.
To be honest, I prefer to just listen to the masterpiece backing track. Everything you need is there. Too many live versions how too many intro variants, from patchy playing, to 'knock your head off drums', too slow to build up, right into that chalky synth sounding 'dah, dah dah, dah dah, dah dah'.
It's one of the main songs that is and will always be associated with the band, I know that. But, it is not a personal favorite among these other gold nuggets. Sorry Ladies, Thanks for coming, but Thankyou for leaving.

LOL - you forgot to mention David Lee Roth.

So it looks like curtains for "TWOTS". For all my ostensible dislike of the track, if it were ever to blast out of a speaker somewhere I'd be as proud as Punch.

It's a futile effort, but I'm voting for Fun Fun Fun here, as TWOTS is my favorite song remaining.

TWOTS got the swat, so that's thot, you could say! The tribe is now down to 6.
Be back shortly, kind folk, to once again stick in the knife and twist the bugger!

Welcome back to the total bastard of all online party games, Beach Boys Survivor - Lifestyles, where we celebrate a bevy of our gang from Hawthorne's Pre-Pet Sounds creations by voting songs off for the most pitiful of 1st World reasons. And loving it!
I'm starting out with Don't Worry Baby again, for no stunning reason, it's just a preference thing for now. I may be tempted to adjust the vote depending on which way things swing/s.

'Girls....Girls....Girls....I dig the Girls....Girls....Girls......' Sung like a bunch of young guys who need to get their socks 'rocked' off. 'Cali Girls' still has to go.
If you want to hear another rotten version of the song, check out the 'All star tribute to Brian Wilson' Ricky Martin performance. Yikes!

Down to a small selection of great tracks. Looking at them I can only see one that is the weakest. From one the best albums ever, "California Girls". As Neil said, "Oh, I've Loved Her So Long". He gives a glance to the coastline, then winks, "Anthems are made to be broken by bigger waves." Neil should know. After "Heart of Gold" he spent years driving towards ditches.

An enforced leave of absence means I have a month’s catch-up to deal with. Looking at what’s left here I’ve concluded that I’m heartily sick of hearing all of them, but the one I’ll single out for special attention is California Girls. The symphonic opening has to be among one of the coolest 25 seconds of their entire career, but stacked against that is the truly abysmal treatment they gave it in live shows from the 80s and 90s. That beautiful intro was s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out for what seemed like half a bloody hour until one of them remembered that there were actually some words to the song. If I have to hear it again then please someone knock me out when I’m down there.

Wow, I can't believe all the votes for California Girls. That backing track is unbelievable. I am voting for FFF again.

Wow, I can't believe all the votes for California Girls. That backing track is unbelievable. I am voting for FFF again. I too am similarly astounded by the votes for CG. So at the moment that leaves 2 iconic songs duking it out. Hmmm, I think CG is the iconicier (made-up word alert), but also more of a favourite, so with a heavy heart I'll have to vote for FFF (unless a few people come in for say IMR, in which case I'll switch).

Fun Fn Fun. Fun song, but I'm surprised it outlasted gems like Warmth of the Sun. The opening of California Girls is something else.

Cali Girls is one of Brian's biggest productions, an absolute masterpiece.
Starting to suspect this poll has been infiltrated and is being sabotaged by fans of Those Beatles or That Oasis.
Sticking with Surfer Girl. Anyone who things SG is superior to CGs needs their ears de-loused!

Ya-I went with IMR because those others seem to hold up as strong, BB-branded tracks, including SG, IGA and CG, whose first few bars are easily identifiable by almost anyone all around this world.

I will change my vote to anything else from FFF to save California Girls. OK, so, I've changed my vote from FFF to SG (as it has the next highest number of votes) to try and save CG. Your move

The poll has been locked. Surfer Girl and California Girls are deadlocked and must both leave the competition.
BUT WAIT!!!! The immunity idol has been played and one of the songs will be remaining in the competition.
Come back soon to find which track has made it through!

Whoa, the stakes are high in BB Survivor - Lifestyles, and we've got to vote out your least favourite of the final 5. Tough gig! but I congratulate you all on some top Survivor play in the last round, great work!
I'm going Don't Worry Baby - a stone cold classic, but just missing a tiny tiny bit of fairy dust compared to the others, I'm taking mere grains.
Go hard, friends!
