Here is a cool interpretation of I Know There's An Answer by Sonic Youth. The song fits pretty well with their style I think!

This is ridiculously good, Peanut a.k.a Katie Kissoon, produced by the great Mark Wirtz who sadly passed away last August.
He recycled elements of the track in 1967 for (He's Our Dear Old) Weatherman, one of only three songs that he managed to complete for his mythical "Teenage Opera". Pete Townshend has said that the inspiration for "Tommy" originated in Mark's work. UK members of a certain age will be familiar with Keith West's rendition of Excerpt From A Teenage Opera, one of the other two songs, which contains one of the most recognisable hooks of its time.
Thanks to my mate JP from Newcastle I managed to get a copy of the Peanut 45 to present to Darian in 2004 during a BW tour. He'd been searching for it all of his life and he almost shat when I gave it to him . Happy days.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this cover of Carry Me Home by Primal Scream.

Another interesting cover. A stripped back medley of Stevie (one of my favourite still unreleased tracks) and My Diane by St Etienne. Bob Stanley being quite a fan.

A beautiful rendition of You Still Believe in Me by Kirsty MacColl here. I especially like the extended harmony at the end that I'm always left wanting more of when I listen to the original! Heavenly!

Kirsty was a huge Beach Boys fan: etched in the dead wax is "God bless Brian".

The Grip Weeds are one of the acts on JEM Records Celebrates Brian Wilson (see the professor's topic of that name). There may be more from this album on YouTube. To tweak the YT blurb:
"It's the 'Coolest Song In The World' on Little Steven's Underground Garage (SiriusXM Ch 21 and international terrestrial radio)! 'You're So Good To Me' comes from the above-named album, released 16 July 2021 on CD and as a download. Other artists on this compilation include The Weeklings, The Anderson Council, Richard Barone, The Midnight Callers, Nick Piunti, Johnathan Pushkar and The Gold Needles.
The Grip Weeds are Kurt Reil (vocals, drums and guitar), Kristin Pinell Reil (vocals, lead guitar), Rick Reil (vocals, guitar and keyboards) and Dave DeSantis (bass):
