Good advice, I'll hold off.

If Brian does retire, I can easily imagine a “Brian Wilson Band: Featuring Al Jardine” show rolling along unabated. I’m sure people would turn up. I would.

Someone on FB claims David Marks is also playing with Brian, Al and Blondie. Anyone heard this or is it wishful flashing back to 2012?
When was the last time David was on stage with Brian, please?

Thanks for that. I think the guy’s maybe wishing for something that ain’t to prove a point against Mike’s tour.

Man, you guys are hilarious. All you're gonna do is bitch about how bad Brian sounds anyway, so what's the point? Oh, ok so you can bitch.

Has anyone received their tickets from Ticketmaster for the UK gigs? I received some lovely Collector Tickets for the postponed Glasgow gig! No mention of it being postponed, and I haven't seen any chat about other people receiving tickets.

And then this suddenly popped up on my FB account. www.facebook.com/events/226558545143245/Looks like a half-baked attempt to keep us hopeful on a future BW concert. It is actually an event that The Oosterpoort made 2 1/2 years ago for the original concert in 2020, and later rescheduled to 2021 en 2022. When it was cancelled they never removed it. And now they've changed the date again to a future (and totally irrelevant) date and time. Can't imagine that this is something concrete. And a one-off show is out of the question anyway. So unless there's indeed talk of a tour, I don't see this coming reality. Looks more like an attempt to keep a little fire burning. And - I mean - 2024... as if BW's management looks that far ahead.

Despite of the basicness of the composition, I love this track. Too bad it didn't ge to be a Beach Boys song.

My wife and I both said we'd easily still go to a show with Brian's band even if Brian weren't there; they're that freakin' good.

I'd go see Brian's band without Brian before I'd go see Paul McCartney's band without Paul McCartney.

Ditto. I mean, they're a great band, but the thing is, without Macca, what's the point? I don't look at those guys and think "Holy crap, they're musical geniuses!" I mean...they don't have a Darian. They don't have a Probyn.
And when ya think about it...the McCartney backup band is the longest-lasting band, by far, that Paul has ever been part of.

Someone on FB has referred to the BW/Chicago tour as a “Beachago reunion”. But even aside from the fact that the original Beachago was a BEACH BOYS/Chicago effort, I’m thinking the ONLY current BW band member on those original gigs was Al Jardine (RIP Billy)? Can anyone confirm?

Yup. Also, there are only three original members of Chicago, so that's four out of... errr... quite a lot.
According to setlist.fm, this was Brian's set (I have no idea how accurate this is):
California Girls Do It Again I Get Around Shut Down Little Deuce Coupe Surfer Girl Salt Lake City Surfin' Safari (Live debut by Brian Wilson) Don't Worry Baby Sloop John B Wouldn't It Be Nice God Only Knows Darlin' Add Some Music to Your Day I Can Hear Music Wild Honey Long Promised Road (with Blondie Chaplin) Sail On, Sailor Good Vibrations Help Me, Rhonda Surfin' U.S.A. Love and Mercy

Per Bob Lizik’s Facebook page, the Chicago horn section played on Darlin’.
Per a comment on Chicago’s Facebook page, Wishing You Were Here was played with the BW Band.
