So after that unconvincing call to action, we bid farewell to Be True to Your School, surely a blow for educators across the globe.

Bang on time!!! Welcome back to Survivor where we are getting down to the wire in Tribe land - tough choices ahead, folk, and lots of heartbreak, but please suck it up and vote with dignity.
I'll continue with Don't Back Down, while a favourite of one respected BB writer and Brian loyalist and no doubt a deep cut lauded by many others, it never really tripped my alarm.
Game On, and please, please remember - BB Survivor is an unsafe space dedicated to skullduggery, villainy and virtual cannibalism - so feel free to come here and do your worst.

I see "The Surfer Moon" has enough on its plate (inexplicably -- I just love those '50s strings!) so I threw a die for one of the other six. Top side was two, so "Finders Keepers" has the dubious honour of etc.. Pity -- that Four Seasons imitation is spot on! But there you go. Alan is a hard taskmaster -- no half-measures for him.  |

That's right, jk, I'm a hard hard sonuv-a-beach and both Finders Keepers and The Surfer Moon are both losers and weepers on a cloudy night - OUT. The tribe, including jk has spoken!
A shame to see them both go, my preference would have been for The Surfer Moon if pushed - absolutely beautiful tune, and perhaps the first Brian "solo" track (anyone?) but the concept of a Surfer Moon is stretching the fadship just a bit too far for me - I think Vicki & Bob's attempted approach: The Summer Moon - makes a little more sense. A little
Enough chit chat, let's go for a drive!!!

Welcome back - and we're voting off our least favourite Car Song of the remaining members.
Remember, these are all great songs, but there can only be one Survivor!!!
Well, I'm going for This Car Of Mine, kinda a new take on the themes of Betsy - rusty, scuffed up, needs work, but irresistible to the owner (a bit like my continually disintegrating Volvo C70 '03 soft top). Nicely sung by a lusty Denny, it's a nifty album track but swimming with some rather big fish.

I went for "Shut Down". It's fine, but not a great favourite. (Between you and me, Alan, I prefer "Pt. 2".)

I was going to vote off “Little Honda” because it’s not a car song, but I think it’s a better song than “Our Car Club.” It was between that and “This Car of Mine,” but Dennis is in good favor these days, so “Our Car Club” it is.

California, here we come, right back where we started frum - Californyahhhh - in honour of the great Iconic Irving Az, we continue BB Survivor by voting off the remaining California Lifestyle songs.
I'm continuing to wail on Amusement Parks USA, undoubtedly creative and out of the box musically, but melodically - not my cup of tea, lyrically - gimmick song.
