Just stumbled upon this AI-generated video. I have no idea how these things work, but I'm a little worried about what this tech can do to authentic tracks... if I'm making no sense, it's due to it being past my bedtime haha. Still an interesting find.

Still an interesting find. This is scary and fascinating at the same time, really don't know how the algorithm works.

Forgive me-if this has been shared-but I don't recall seeing this clip from David Frost 1969-though I have seen a similar performance from The Mike Douglas Show

Wasn’t sure whether this should go in the BBs’ YouTube thread or the Cover Versions thread!
Stanton Warriors version (mix? Mash-up?) of Good Vibrations, featuring The Beach Boys:

Forgive me if this one has been posted already but as it was recently uploaded to YT I thought I would share:
Some random fellow offers ten of his least favorite songs by the group. Do what you will with this kind of video and the guy in it does ramble a bit to the point of at least slight annoyance. That said, other than at least one unreleased track on here that he includes, I can't really argue too much with his list (although the fact that he doesn't include "Summer Of Love" is an absolute travesty). And the guy seems to have a deeper knowledge of the group than the casual fan typically would.

Saw this a few days ago. It sounds better than other videos out there. And then hidden at the end, you'll find what sounds like Brian playing the 'Mahala-lu-lei' section of 'Do You Like Worms' on the piano, which I really hope is legit audio!!

That clip is from the 1985 documentary The Beach Boys: an American band, which was done with the cooperation of the band and assembled a lot of the then available footage-such as the Surf’s Up performance from Inside Pop. A number of the interviews used were from the 70s-including one with Van Dyke Parks, which is heard towards the end of the clip

For a moment I thought that was Walter White. Definitely understandable...but IIRC Walter transcribed "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow" for guitar, and shortly thereafter was never seen again.

I remember hearing the same. It comes from the ' An American Band' documentary, which although towing the line on the 'Smile was inappropriate and Brian was crazy' narrative, managed to give us the first legit release of Mrs O Leary's Cow and portions of Do You Like Worms

But was heard shouting "I am the one who rocks" ...with a hint of his eventual fate revealed to us thanks to a sound effect added at the end suggesting that he was strangled by the guitar cord attached to his amplifier!

American Band was an amazing video at that time and is what first got me interested in the band. It had a lot of mystery to me because I’d never heard of Smile and did not know anything about the band. It created lots of questions-for example in some home movie footage you see David M but he was never discussed in the movie. You also see Brian in various interviews and I was wondering if it was all new but I now know that they mostly used existing footage (such as Brian being interviewed by the Old Grey Whistle Test or Brian’s classic in bed interview from the It’s OK special. I remember that the footage of Surfs Up from Inside Pop amazed me as I’d never heard it. I also recall that there was a lot of footage labeled 1964 and I was noticing how Carls weight varied so much in one year but later realized they misdated a lot of it and some of it was 1965 (like the shindig footage of fun, fun, fun.
