I just changed my vote to Girls on the Beach to try to keep Farmer's Daughter around. To each their own. I like both songs, but I'd rate GOTB slightly higher. I agree, I like all of the songs on the list at this point.

I’ve gone with GOTB cos it (like many of the others) isn’t so much a love song as an infidelity song.

GOTB on its way out?? Then I'll change my vote to sacrifice Farmer's Daughter.

I like GOTB & Farmer's Daughter better than Keep an Eye On Summer, but have voted for GOTB to try and keep Farmer's Daughter around.

Okay, I've changed my Wendy whomp vote to Girls On, in order to help Farmer's Daughter plow her field.

Have changed my own vote to You’re So Good to Me, and it’s whiney “la la la la la la” vocals which have never struck me as a truly great listen.

Well, since it looks like I can't save Farmer's Daughter, I am changing my vote back to KAEOS, which is what I originally had.

I think “Surfer Girl” is a better song than “Farmer’s Daughter,” but I’m sick of “Surfer Girl” which pops up on every compilation and live concert. “Farmer’s Daughter” is much easier to avoid. I’m voting off “Surfer Girl.” Go ride your last wave already.

You have to start your search for love somewhere. Girls On The Beach is that first step in finding love. Nothing like Sun, surf and good sunburn to get that new love affair off to a flying start. 😀

I met my first wife on the beach. So in that case, it was the start of a 21 year relationship.

I'm going for Help Me, Rhonda. I've always found the chorus a little lacking, too repetitive - the alternate version on Endless Harmony at least gives a bit more interest to it.

That’s it peeps, poll is closed and Farmer’s Daughter is ploughing off into the horizon - but we’ll see her again soon as part of the line-up in California Girls.
Great round, next round will be up in 4 hours!

Or even sooner!
Welcome to another round of BB Survivor as we whittle down the Love Song Tribe (of tracks from several Pre-Pet Sounds albums).
I'm starting with Wendy - great song but not as musically accomplished as others on this list.

Hello Peter. Same song here. But not lotsa reasons, just two: 1) I've heard it far too often (particularly at the time of its release) and 2) I prefer the down-homey Today! take on the subject.

John, it's one of those songs that if you hear it first thing in the morning it spends the entire day burrowing its way through to the cortex and won't give you a moment's peace until you fall into blissful slumbers around midnight. Otherwise, I love it

Another chance at eliminating Help Me, Rhonda, and it's now taken an early lead. Plus if it keeps You're So Good To Me in a little longer that's a bonus - it may be a little simplistic musically but the vocal is so heartfelt, I love it.

Reasons? Good ones? It was the precursor to this...

LOL, It's neck and neck between "Rhonda" and "Keep An Iron, Summer", so I'm going to change my vote to Summer, for the non-win!

I'll go with the Girl from New York City. I think it's a pretty good song, but has never really been a favorite, and it's easily my least favorite of the remaining tracks.
