We’re doubling down this round - time for two tracks to go so we can move towards putting this donkey to bed! Full Sail - come on, peeps, it ran a-ground after the first claxon. My second vote goes to Lady Lynda, a track considered Al’s finest moment by Granny’s with Blue rinsed hair the world over!, especially in in Great Brexit! Do your worst! True to past form, I've voted out "Full Snail" (more Aussie humour) and "Goin' South". Uh-oh, here we go again: 9 votes by 5 voters.

Voted goin’ south and full sail. It’d be a shame to see the latter go, but all the other tracks I thought were worse than it were already eliminated.

Glad to see Good Timin' getting some votes as it is next for me to go after this round (Full Sail and Goin' South). Thought I'd be alone in voting out that one for a few rounds.

For the life of me, I still don't understand how "Lady Lynda" (about Al's then-wife) did so well on the UK charts. I just don't get it. Some say it's Al's best, if not the best thing he's ever done. Not to me, it ain't! Back in the day, it was a pain in the butt to have to get up and lift the needle off the record to skip this track. I even fast forward the song on the 'Live in Knebworth' video. The only thing worse than this one on the album is Sumahama.
Sorry, Mr. Jardine, I love ya, but I never could savor this one on my taste buds. The words "smaltzy" and "cornball" immediately come to mind.
Something else has to go and I guess it'll be 'Goin South'. Good harmonies, but a tad weak.

Unrelated but yeah the best Al song? Nope. For me it’s either Don’t Go Near The Water or Susie Cincinnati or California (on my way to sunny californ-i-a)

Even I voted for Carl's "Goin' South". And the lovely Lynda. Next pick will be tougher!

Terrible to see "Full Sail" going for a sink... I'll go down with the ship before voting it off.
Change your votes now! Save my chosen home number.

I just think that the others songs (Lady Lynda included) are more memorable for my tastes. Not to say that I hate Full Sail. Please stay. There’s much to look forward to! ;(

This is a great record once you half it to the out pile. Carl was a power-mover in the group at the time.

Looks like "Goin' South" is going South. The Dennis tracks are hanging tough. It's true that Dennis' tracks saved this album.

With the songs that are left, I had to vote off Full Sail and Goin’ South. So far, this vote has gone exactly as my personal preferences go. I’ll be interested to see if it continues that way.

Well, the outcome will hinge on if and when the Hidden Immunity Idol is discovered!, I’m seeing lots of differing discussion about next targets. But yes, this round likely to be a more “traditional” best track kind of round as I couldn’t split the LP into sides due to HCTN hogging up the space of three songs. Anyway, enough behind the curtain stuff, get looking for that idol!

Things will soon be finalised for this heat - if you are the person who has voted for only one song (41 votes from 21 voters), quickly get your second vote in - not that it's gonna change anything!

Ok, I’m calling it - the tribe has spoke and Full Sail is Goin’ South, the two Carl songs deemed less fit than the, err, remaining!
Next heats poll up soon, lets see if Lady Lynda is dethroned this time around.

Welcome back thrill seekers.
John Manning's post above really moved me, and as a result I've decided to introduce a Grind Round of sheer fanboy terror where you must eliminate 3 tracks in order to get us to the final 2, so we can be done with LA in time for my Sunday lunch (I've already got a roast in the oven, you see).
Yep 3!!! Feel free to cry to momma, but it's too much info for the rest of us here, so keep your problems to yourself - or, like many others, have a moan on Facebook.
The hidden immunity idol is still in play. If you are searching for it in the same way as last time, you're not gonna find it - you need to step out of the box and think like the totally conniving petty dodgy bastard that I am - I await your PMs with high anticipation and pride. Not to mention, I've forgotten where I've put it, so it will be a win/win if you find it.
Outwit, outplay, outlast!!!!!!!!!

I voted Lady, Angel and Surrounds. I love all 5, but something has got to go and Good Timin’ and Baby Blue are superior to me!

No problem picking the first two, but picking the third was tough. My three to leave are: Lady Lynda, Love Surrounds Me and... and... Angel Come Home.

I championing the underdogs this time. Every few hours I’m gonna change my votes to those tracks with the least support. I recommend everyone does the same.
That’s the trouble with democracy – people.

That’s the trouble with democracy – people. While that's a bit cynical of you, John, I for one do not disagree with your concluding statement - for example, someone has forgotten to cast their second and third votes, or two people have forgotten to cast their third votes right here on this very poll. What a shambles, a flaming mess.
