Please Follow This Simple Example To Keep Yourself Safe

I feel like a fool.

Maybe we could have a thread about stuff you can do at home to help yourself, in the absence of masks and gloves - which the health system lacks as well as first responders.  

There are Youtube channels to teach you how to make a mask on your own - out of paper towels, parchment paper, elastics and fastened with a stapler. It is not N95. But it is better than nothing.  Something is better than nothing.  People are smart, clever and inventive - especially creative ones who have an interest in music.  

There are others on YouTube - if you can sew - and free online patterns to make your own out of small amounts of fabric, old t-shirts that are multi-layered, and are probably useful to use to do errands, and essential going-out while on stay-at-home edicts.  If they look that home made then maybe people will stay that 6 feet away from you! At least they know you take this seriously and not get close enough to sneeze or cough on your grocery cart.
A lot of first responders have become infected for lack of personal protective equipment and volunteers are helping fill the gap - making masks at home.
 
Yesterday I stumbled on a study about household salt soaked fabric which kills the virus in 5 minutes from a study in 2017.
