If it's a little odd to see senior citizens in Hawaiian shirts and shorts singing about high school, it's trebly so seeing them in makeup, platform boots, and metal-and-leather.)

Uh oh, were them fightin' words!?
Let's at least agree that "Let Me Go, Rock and Roll" is great!

What, you're off words now and communicating exclusively through emojis? This is going to get complicated.

No, I love "Let Me Go, Rock And Roll". One of my favorite, if not my favorite song from Hotter Than Hell.
And I just get a little too sentimental when people like Peter Tork, Hal Blaine, and I'm forgetting somebody else passes away. And I recently read an emotional interview with Linda Ronstadt. It's judgemental and hypocritical on my part. I don't have KISS tickets either. Or for Dolenz and Nesmith. But what can I say...I'm a sentimental sap.

Aw shucks.
Anyway, I meant to say this about KISS recently. I forget whether I did (and am not going to scroll through posts now just for this), but: KISS were a far, far better rock and roll band than they were a hard rock / heavy metal band.

Oh, yeah, definitely. Weren't their earlier influences The Beatles, Dave Clark 5, The Rolling Stones - rock & roll bands. And even Phil Spector. I love KISS' take on "Then She Kissed Me" and "Any Way You Want It" from Alive II. That's rock and roll! They sound like they were having a blast recording stuff like that.

KDS: I see another new Whitesnake tune is out.
(The visuals in Coverdale's sunglasses are kind of trippy.)
Nice guitar solos. The song is OK, but nothing exceptional. A little long.

Pretty good. Odd to hear DC go gutteral on the chorus. So far, this is a huge improvement from that terrible and unneccessary album of Purple covers from a few years ago.
