1. I was just listening to "Goin' On" this morning and it didn't do anything for me. I found it slightly boring. I think it's become overrated by fans.
2. Ten Years Of Harmony is also overrated, an overrated comp. It is so flawed with it's selection of songs and some of the worst sequencing ever on a Beach Boys' album. It has six songs from Surf's Up and just one from Love You. They did not know how to represent Dennis Wilson. No DW songs from Sunflower, and "River Song" makes no sense on a Beach Boys' album. "Deidre"? Give me a break. Was "School Days" really necessary? Including the live version of "Darlin'" is a slap in the face to the material from the last ten years. As far as sequencing, they were handed a gift with "California Saga" and the possibility to follow it with "Cool, Cool Water", but, no, they followed it with "Wontcha Come Out Tonight". When I hear "Rock And Music", I automatically expect to hear "It's OK" next, but on this album they chose "Goin' On" for some reason. And then after "Goin' On" comes "It's OK"! "Roller Skating Child" into "Disney Girls"?
3. 15 Big Ones is one of Brian Wilson's best produced albums.
4. "Peggy Sue" is easily the best lead vocal of Al Jardine's career. Listen!
5. After Pacific Ocean Blue, Carl Wilson's Youngblood is the best Beach Boys' solo album.

If it stays on topic (Beach Boys only), then it can stay here.
