At #199 in the current (March 2nd) Billboard Top 200 albums chart - the zillionth* re-entry of Sounds Of Summer. Given "Surfin'" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 February 17th 1962, that gives the band a chart history of just over 57 years. Not bad for a bunch of kids from Hawthorne, huh ? [* 10th, actually...]

When the music is good, it always finds an audience. The fact that it renews with every generation has really been gratifying as a fan over the last 45 years for me.

This goes along with the trend I've been seeing on Spotify. Usually they don't enter the top 500 until sometime in April, but this year they're already at 468 and climbing. Hopefully it's a small sign that more people are recognizing they're not just a band you listen to in the summer.
