Oddly enough, I have a folder on my hard drive that says "Not For Sale II" with a copy of this piano version of She Believes in Love Again. File marked 2008, but no clue how reliable that is. It's the only song in the folder too, so obviously Bruce shared it with me for some purpose, but I have no recollection what it was intended for. Really nicely recorded, FWIW. Quality stuff.

Great recording / performance. I agree. I'm not really a fan of the original to be honest, but I like this one.

Nice and heartfelt, but I miss the middle eight!

Since “She Believes In Love Again” has been shared and no boogie men have swooped down and swallowed the thread into Tartarus...
Would any of the several of you guys that have the Not For Sale cd care to share the three Bruce tracks that we’re all dying to hear?

The way I recall, Bruce was pretty excited about Sports Theme when I was pulling this promo disc together. The CD was a freebie, given away at a Susan Lang convention happening in Connecticut (in the US) likely in 2003. I had arranged to get some great tracks included (2,3,7,13,14,18,19) but Bruce did most of the heavy lifting in connecting me with BB's, their family, and friends (Tracks 1,4,5,6,8-12,15-17,20-23) helping to convince them to lend me tracks for this convention freebie. Bruce also named the comp 'Not For Sale.' What blew my mind though was Bruce's inclusion of If There Were Time. That track is a lost gem from long ago. Other thoughts... The Christian Love track 'North Wind' is exceptional, IMO. I believe Hayleigh is on backing vocals on that one too. Well written, but sung with more feel than I'd heard from the BB camp in a long time at that point. I met Mike when I gave the BB touring band all their copies of this, and I told him how much I liked Christians track. Mike took pause, read the credits (seeing multiple Love family members on the disc) and I got the impression he was going to check the disc out. I still believe the Van Dyke demo for 'Wall Street' on this comp is far superior to the version he released later. He was super gracious to lend that tune. I'm still honored to have had the Action Suits on the comp. Peter Bagge is my favorite graphic novel illustrator/writer, and he was in that band. Hey Junkstar, since this was a "freebie"back in the day, do you think you could "freebie" it onto the web so us younger Bruce fans who were too young to have been involved in this convention could hear these unreleased tunes? Thanks!

George was good to send me a copy as well, way back when. I really love the track called "My Remote", written and performed by Christian Love's band FIVE ALARM.
I met Christian a year or so later, and mentioned it, and he was completely blown away that I even had knowledge of the song!! Quite good!
There's a few other really great tunes on there as well, but I haven't played it in years, so I'll have to find it and revisit it again.
And as said, it was given out at the Susan Lang East Coast Convention back in 2003. I couldn't make it, but I wrote to George who was very gracious to send me a copy! I think Les Chan put me in touch with him.
