I've never seen this short clip. It is apparently the BBs and the Springfield landing in Dallas on April 16. They'd played San Antonio and Austin the night before and were supposed to play in Little Rock that night but the gig was canceled. It's possible they had a day off in Dallas or were just passing through.

Is that the Strawberry Alarm Clock sitting on the ground of the runway? And the black dude smiling down at them - could that be Ron Brown (bassist for The Beach Boys on their fall '67 tour)?

Well-as you and I have discussed-the other musicians on the April 1968 tour all agree that they did not play with Ron Brown-so he had already departed the touring lineup by April 1968. The guy in the footage seems to be part of the Strawberry Alarm Clock group-maybe working with them?

You're right, I forgot about that (fighting the flu with a low grade fever - out of my mind, I guess!)
