With knowing that some on this board have heard these CDs, I wanted to post this list again (as I did on the 'old board'). We have a lot of these tracks already, but an official release would help. My RED X's are for tracks out on boots and the BLUE X's are for tracks available to those lucky few who have the tapes. Any insight would be welcomed.

The version of Susie Cincinnati on Best of The Beach Boys The Brother Years is the 1970 single version right?
Was there no CATP bonus tracks planned?

LPOHT is actually Love Is A Woman. Not a bad lead either. Roller and Night are just early mixes. Rough vocals and not as synth heavy.

I haven’t seen them on boots but have heard the longer version of WIBNTLA and We Gotta Groove, courtesy of a very generous fellow fan, to whom I am exceptionally grateful; both were from this Brother “extras” set. WIBNTLA was a curate’s egg… beautiful song, of course, and the extended ending is a trait of the BBs’ music that I love. This was an extended noodling, or jamming, with sweet flutes by Charles Lloyd (I assume) as well as some nice backing vocals. There’s a curious instrument in the mix, though, that spoils it – perhaps a keyboard recorded real slow and then sped up to be overdubbed? If this ever gets an official release, I hope it might be possible to leave it out of the mix; it’d improve things a thousandfold. I’d love to hear it again.

Should have said that some of the tracks marked with an X we have heard some of the track like We Gotta Groove. Sorry.

and probably for the best too. Not the finest examples of listening pleasure... (excluding WIBNTLA of course) 😎

Is there any hint in Fairy Tale Music where A Casual Look would have been placed?

Is there any hint in Fairy Tale Music where A Casual Look would have been placed? Segueing directly from the intro.

Still fascinating. I believe these lists will be the basis for the next copyright releases or at least we know some tracks that should be included. If I'm not mistaken these were initially planned as bonus tracks for the Brother re-issue in the early 2000. I really want to hear 'Til I Die (1969 Piano Demo)

Isn’t there an early version with different lyrics, Craig, or am I guilty of wishful thinking!? Would love to hear these “Leonardo sketches” some day.

I hope these tracks make it on the upcoming copyright releases. Fingers crossed.
