According to a friend "it's a whole mag about them with new interviews, album appreciations, a Smile discussion, bootleg feature etc etc".

Can you still buy Record Collector in stores -- in the US?
I guess Barnes & Nobles is the only bookstore left in town who might have it?
Or is the magazine sold in record stores perhaps?
Love and merci, Dan Lega

Yes, RECORD COLLECTOR is sold in Barnes and Noble stores in the U.S. A bit of a time delay since it is published in the UK. And thanks Andrew for the heads up. Looking forward to it.

When someone spots it on the shelves in the US, please let us know.

Curious to see if it makes it to NL. I'll ask around, starting with my local friendly tobacconist...

Is this still due to be published next month?
The newest issue features Pet Shop Boys on the cover.
Getting confused as the (UK) music mags are always a month or two ahead of the actual calendar month we're in.
Received the June issue of Uncut today, 27 April.

If it's meant to be a whole magazine dedicated to the boys, I assume it's part of their 'Record Collector presents' series?
Newsagents typically don't stock that particular one, at least not the ones I usually visit, so I suppose I'll have to order it online when it becomes available. Anyway, thanks for the heads up!

Street date of 23 May means it will take until at least mid-June to see it pop up in shops in America. My area has two B&N stores, one a superstore. They do sell this kind of thing, special issues by Mojo and Uncut, which are not done very well. As in nothing new to readers looking for deep-dives.
Some of our researchers are sharing very interesting, new to me, stuff about sessions. Something I'm very interested in. Writers that are sharing freely - not behind pay walls. I'm not that familiar with Record Collector doing special issues. What artists have they been featuring?
If it's worth buying, I will. But not before thumbing through first. I'm not looking for picture books or more myths, printed with new ink.
