My favorite is still "The Little Girl I Once Knew". Such a brilliant arrangement that I can scarcely wrap my head around it.

I've had a bit of an obsession with Even Steven since the 68 sets were released. I've been obsessed with Be Here In The Morning Darling. I might include it among my top 10 right now!!

As with many folk here it depends on the mood, the era, the vibrations... but overall I'd probs have to go with All This Is That...

Ok, I said GV... but in the last 20 days I'm amazed by the backing track of "Little Bird". A masterpiece.

I think my always default answer is 'I Just Wasn't Made For These Times'. I don't think another composer/songwriter ever perfectly captured the feeling of sadness, alienation, and loneliness all in one song as brian and tony did in that one. Other answers depending on the day could be 'Do You Like Worms?', 'Vegetables (Smiley)', 'When a Man Needs a Woman', 'Cabinessence' or 'I'll Bet Hes Nice' ! sorry for so many runner-ups haha.

When I first heard it in 1965, Please Let Me Wonder instantly became my all time favorite song. When I heard God Only Knows a year later it went to #1 with PLMW at #2. Four years after that Forever went to #1, dropping GOK to #2 and PLMW to #3.
Forty eight (gasp!) years later, Forever remains my all time favorite, with Please Let Me Wonder at #2, and God Only Knows at #3.
I've heard a lotta music over the years, but for me nothing else by anyone anywhere is as great as these top 3.
But, I must add, there is not one song listed so far that I don't absolutely love - hence my membership on this board.

Without a single doubt: 'Til I Die
Even after more than a thousand listening to it (according to my last.fm), there's still details to discover. Still mindblowed by the coda. I can't get enough of it

"All I Wanna Do"--like "Good Vibrations", it's a little world all of its own.
It was "AIWD" that set me on the road to BB superfandom.

The live version of "Let The Wind Blow" from 1973's Concert lp is my favorite today. Tomorrow, it will be another song. It's a rather large catalog!
