Hello everyone,
I come from the United States, but travel often for business purposes.
In my brief time researching The Beach Boys, I have met many pleasant people.
Adult contemporary music is much more my taste, so my knowledge of Beach Boys lore is lacking in comparison to the majority of other posters. I was familiar with Bruce Johnston’s work, which I came across after learning more about Barry Manilow’s music. I had the good fortune of watching Manilow perform I Write The Songs live in Salt Lake City, and I hope to someday see this performed by the man who wrote it. My favorite Manilow performance is his duet with John Denver on a 1979 television special where they covered a medley of hits by the Everly Brothers. My favorite Bruce Johnston performance has yet to be determined. His performances at Live Aid, as well as of Do You Wanna Dance in Japan, are high energy and full of the cheer the world needs now. Yet having seen him perform live on five occasions within the last month, I would still be hard pressed to pick a favorite.
Kind regards to all!

Second that welcome, Beachmallow. And envy you having the opportunity to see all those gigs in such a short time.
Enjoy the board – it’s the best surfboard going.

Hey, beachmallow. You swing hard towards the outfield. We've met already. That's step one in more discussions, get noticed. welcome.
I like adult contemporary. Bruce is an expert at it. You had an interesting way of finding The Beach Boys. You've seen them five times in the last month? That's a lot of traveling.
