Last night we watched the televised recording of a 2023 BBC Prom Concert dedicated to the Northern Soul phenomenon.
This was the closing song at the concert, Frank Wilson's anthemic "Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)", which was voted #1 in The Northern Soul Top 500, based on a survey held among Northern Soul fans. Every singer onstage was excellent throughout the evening and the accompanying orchestra was fantastic, as was the vibe on- and offstage:
