VIP Jens-Martin Storskov from Denmark with surprise guest Jon Bolton
David, great seeing Jon and his side of things in this interview.
I also noticed you showed off your copy of 'Summer In Paradise' on vinyl.
Beware of that plastic inner sleeve the LP is in, and whatever you do, do not place it in an area of heat, because I had a copy arrive in the mail,
and that inner sleeve totally melted/fermented the vinyl and the record was unplayable!.
It appeared melted, noisy, and the effect was irreversible.
The record lost it's shine, and looked 'contaminated'.
The item was sold as Mint-, but somewhere on it's travel it sat somewhere very hot!
It had the same effect as many of those terrible outer PVC plastic covers were in the 70's.
Over time with heat the covers can 'gas off' and eventually destroy the vinyl within!
If you don't know about that, Google PVC covers and vinyl melting etc etc.......
There are too few copies of SIP on vinyl, that losing any copy is a disaster in my book.
That one needs 'special attention' for sure.
Just throwing my experience out there man!........
