Hello friends! Greg and I are honored to welcome Wendy Wilson to the show this Tuesday at 8 EST. We can’t wait to speak with her about her music career and her life with Brian and The Beach Boys. I hope you will join us on Tuesday at 8 EST on Facebook or YouTube!

Thanks for the update. I just this week became aware of your show and have started going through some of the older episodes you all have done. I am currently listening to the Carnie Wilson episode you did a few months back. I will look forward to Tuesday, and trying to catch the show live. Keep up the great work.

Matt, another great interview with Wendy. She is very candid and down to Earth. It was fun hearing her experiences with her uncles, Carl, Dennis and Billy, along with her relationships with Al & Matt.

Inititally, when Wendy first appeared on the screen, I thought it was Marilyn. Then she suddenly resembled Diane. Then she changed her position in the chair and looked like Marilyn again. Funny how that works - I'd never noticed the resemblance before. Wendy was blessed with good looks. She's always looked real good. I always figured she was quiet and shy, and she mentioned how she eventually came out of her shell. Also interesting was how she said she's still working on issues from her childhood. I would have asked her to delve a little bit into her and her sister's contributions to Brian's "I wasn't Made For These Times" sessions; the 1995 video of which provided a little glimpse into their relationship with their Dad after separating from Landy.

Yep, thoroughly enjoyable, and she looks amazing at 53 years of age! The woman doesn't age! She carries so many 'Wilson'isms' that it's awfully cute. Like Mikie, I'm curious how she carries so much weight emotionally around her dad still, but she says she's 'getting there'. Not our business I guess, and probably not for us to know. Seems the Carnie/Wendy Wilson daughter relationships with dad are still not particularly close, as both have not had a lot to do with him it seems in recent times... Families and Family business can be so very complicated. Thanks Greg and Matt for bringing the goods to the show again, thoroughly enjoyed todays session.

Just want to add that she has a great personality with a sense of humor, and she's a classy chick with a great smile and a good voice too! Sounds like Carl was her favorite uncle.

I'll be looking in later today. The interview with Carnie was cool and I'm sure this one will be too.

Yes very enjoyable! Yeah I noticed in both the Carnie and Wendy interviews that the subtext is no contact with dad in a while…it seems odd, as I assume they all live in the greater LA area but as we know the Wilson family dynamic has always been complicated

Last I heard, Wendy lives in the state of Washington.

It's pretty much always been that way, and the introduction of Melinda into the equation didn't exactly help. That said, after Brian left the rehab center following his last back surgery, he stayed with Carnie & Rob for a good few weeks.

"Melinda said I will bring back the family again. Brian, the children will have their father again. You know so that's how they have gotten back into his life."
