Since I discovered it over a year ago, Boom Radio has been my constant companion, but even they cock it up royally some times. Like today. Not satisfied with informing me that Who's Next was released this day in 1969, the same DJ accurately noted it was also David Crosby's 81st birthday. Which song did he play to mark the occaision ? "Marrakesch Express".

Oops. I can't believe they're not familiar with David's stunning solo album -- it's not that obscure!
"Laughing" would have been a great choice...

When he died, Dutch TV showed him holding a mic while singing something goofy.

Sought out a copy at my local record store. They had two used ones in stock: one for about $25, and another for $9. The $9 came from a radio station and had markings all over it -- masking tape with the station call sign on it, stamped initials on the label, etc., but the record itself looked like it was never touched. Because of the provenance, though, I opted for the $9 version. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Excellent from start to finish. And man, I could listen to the groove of "Cowboy Music" for hours on end.
