I will always regret that I never tried that. I had just graduated from college in the Bay area and had friends who lived in Southern Ca.. I'm not sure what I was thinking, I mean it sounds like it would've been so easy if you caught Brian on the right day. Regrets, I've had a few but then......

Fascinating interview with Arny Geller (even if some of his recollections are open to question) - so much so that I've had to update Part 2 of my BEACH BOYS ALBUM SLEEVES PROJECT forthwith ! Well done David !! Malc, I just read your recent updates in the album sleeves project. Jeff Foskett relates: For my 20th birthday I wanted to meet Brian Wilson. I knew he lived on Bellagio Road in Bel Air, and I knew that the ‘Wild Honey’ album sleeve was a picture of a stained-glass window in his house. So I drove up and down Bellagio Road until I found that window. I went to the gate, rang the buzzer, and he let me in. Obviously you couldn't get away with something like that today, and I'm sure I'm the only human that ever did that." No, Jeff wasn't the only human who did that. Right around the same time Jeff visited Brian in 1976, I did the same thing. And fellow superfan Steve Bonilla also did the same thing. ( I was referring to going to Bel Air and meeting Brian in my post above)

My first issue of ESQ — a 2018 back issue — arrived in my mailbox and I didn’t have to pay any customs or service fees! Signing up for a subscription right away! It’s good to be alive.
