O, yes, Dennis definitely moved on to the Canary Islands. But he stayed in the NL for the first few weeks or so. So either the pic was taken in those early weeks, or when he was there for a session. This may be common knowledge but combining facts accumulated at several sites it seems he was in Tenerife recovering from a knife wound (in his right hand?) inflicted during a row with his wife and flew in to NL for sessions.

Canary Islands is a five hour flight to Amsterdam. That’s a strange choice.
Also: is this hand injury unrelated to Dennis severing his tendons when walking through a glass door? Or was the latter a cover-up for the wife attack?

Or was the latter a cover-up for the wife attack? I believe he surfed while he was out there. As for the hand injury, your description sounds much more familiar -- and much more plausible.

Soooo they cancelled the International Utrecht Record Fair - scheduled for this weekend at the very last minute, die to new restrictions (a 3-week lockdown) overhere… 😢 Would have been the first one after 2 years. So as an alternative I decided to travel off to Amsterdam to check out (most of) the record shops there. And while I was there I was able to check some BB hotspots. So here’s the former BB office in the Netherlands (72-73), Tweede Helmersstraat 28. And the sight from bridge 44, where Dennis was posing almost 50 years ago. O, and I found this one… looks like a limited boot production.
