This week's album comparison (see the previous poll Surfin' Safari VS Surfin' USA) is between Surfer Girl and Little Deuce Coup. Again, for each pair of songs, pick ">" if the first song is better, "<" if the first song is worse. And again, it's all in fun.
This poll has problems because the two albums have duplicate songs between them, but mainly while Surfer Girl has filler, Little Deuce Coup has big hits from past albums. This will probably be the only poll with these problems, so future polls might be more of a fair comparison.

There are a couple of match-ups I can't vote on, because there's not an = (equals) option available. I think "Surfer Girl" and "Little Deuce Coupe" are equals, as are "Hawaii" and "Spirit of America." Great stuff, all around!

That would, of course, bring the number of choices from 24 to 36. Maybe if others request an "=" option I can do that going forward. I think, though, that just not voting on a song would give the same mathematical results - because when I tabulate the final count, the number of songs that won will determine which album is wins, not the total votes for or against any particular song. (Remember, it's just for fun.) |
