Although they don't actually use the band's name, Belle & Sebastian name all the Beach Boys in their song "I Love My Car":
"I love my Carl I love my Brian my Dennis and my Al I could even find it in my head to love Mike Love"

A new addition to the list -- how refreshing!
Eggy -- Jake Brownstein (guitar), Alex Bailey (drums), Michael Goodman (bass) and Dani Battat (keyboard), all vocalists -- perform their song "Island Afterlife" (J. Brownstein & P. Amarante) at Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne on December 28, 2019.
The all-important words can be heard just after 3:48:
"Little shack baby, digging the beach boys, seeks a painting that captures your soul Just to feel closer than a distant memory that fades with your time when you're old Living as a ghost on an island, caught between the sky and the day All of my love to the person I was and the people still finding their way"

A supremely catchy song by the marvellous Divine Comedy, which namechecks both Good Vibrations and Van Dyke Parks. Not the first time singer-songwriter Neil Hannon has referenced the Beach Boys in one of his songs. He's clearly a fan.

Not just mention, but one of my most favorite tributes. Dave Edmunds - Beach Boy Blood
I'm a little bit surprised Brian, Mike and Joe Knott didn't receive songwriting credits for the parts that reference Add Some Music, Do It Again and especially Til I Die.

Canadians - Find Out Your 60's. Reference at 1'48". Thanks a lot, Tilt. Yes -- "The Beach Boys and the old style songs or dancing in the moon". I've added it to my list.

Lindsey Buckingham’s second solo album titled Go Insane had a song about Dennis Wilson called DW suite. In it you hear the audio to the ‘64 concert album where the guy says “the fabulous Beach Boys”. So, could be a song about a Beach Boy and a song that mentions them in one.
A two-fer!

Didn’t see this in the list...saw Billy do this at his film screening. Still don’t believe he is gone.

Didn’t see this in the list...saw Billy do this at his film screening. Still don’t believe he is gone. That's because I only recently began including mentions of "Beach Boy", the singular noun or adjective. Thank you for this. Rest in peace, Billy.

What about "Brian" by Chris Rainbow? "Dear Brian". Here you go: Lovely though both these songs are, my list isn't about individual names. I think there are enough of those to warrant a separate thread, but that's for someone else to organize.

This one's actually good. Cripes that’s lovely. Could almost be Brian himself playing keys at the opening. Add that to my “Could almost be an unreleased album by The Beach Boys” mix!

A French singer did a song called "Brian" but I don't remember his name. Couldn't find anything first time round. I had another look later and found this one by Bruno Romary called, remarkably, "Ma femme s'appelle Brian":

Do songs in other languages count? Several months ago, I heard a song by some Spanish band that mentioned the Beach Boys. I thought "I have to post about it on EH" and I was even translating the song into English as I was listening to it, but I was busy at the time and then I completely forgot about it. Now I'm trying to remember the name of the artist or the song but nothing comes to my mind. It's impossible to google it and it doesn't show up in Spotify history. It's frustrating I hope I'll listen to it again some day. I'll keep you posted

I love both versions, but this non-Godrich re-recording sounds even more Wilsonesque. Sleigh bells!
