Mikie kindly suggested I say 'hi'. My BB journey started with liking what I heard of the group on classic / golden oldies stations and then getting my brother to order 20 Golden Greats through his Britannia Music Catalogue! Alongside the great fun in the sun hits I remembered I was absolutely floored by God Only Knows, Don't Worry Baby, Good Vibrations and H&V. I remember actually stopping walking when the 'boys and girls' part of H&V came on while listening to it on headphones walking home from school! I now had a favourite band and a question, who is this 'B. Wilson' guy? I had no internet and the capitol twofers had not long been out so I bought those after getting my first CD player, devoured the liner notes and at one point saw AGD's complete guide book (hope the planets align for an updated version, lost mine years ago) in Waterstones and that was my Bible for my pre internet years. I remember going to markets and picking up Love You on cassette and L.A on picture vinyl etc to try and complete the album discography. The first time I heard Marcella was on an EP with Mona, Sail on Sailor and Rock and Roll music I think! It was a time of finding the music as and where I could. My first job got me the money for the 30 years box and going through that was amazing. Flash forward and finally the 70s stuff comes out on CD, I'm lurking on the smileysmile site etc and then onto seeing Brian perform Pet Sounds in full and getting to see Smile live opening night! This board was a breath of fresh air when I first discovered it as other boards had gotten a bit toxic etc. Can't wait for Feel Flows release and discussing it's joys and all other matters BB or not here too

Mark, thanks for introducing yourself and welcome to the Endless Harmony board! I'm glad that you discovered this board, and you will find that we're friendly, drama-free, and a "breath of fresh air" as you say. Looking forward to your posts here!

Mark, welcome to the board. We are happy to have you join in with us. I’m glad that you noticed that we try to stay “Drama Free”. Everyone works hard to keep it that way. 🙂

Hey Mark - great to have you onboard, lots to see and do and kind folk to meet!
That 20 Golden Greats! - First time I heard California Girls intro (mind blown), and that whacky full version of Barbara-freakin'-Ann!, was via said LP.

20 Golden Greats sure seems to have been the gateway to fandom for a fair few of us.
The LA picture disc certainly looks great and I was afraid to play it in case doing so ruined it! I've got that EP too and therein lies a tale/lesson: my Dad brought it home for me saying he'd seen it in the record shop and thought I'd like it, which I did, especially because it had the picture sleeve. But, it skipped when played so I asked my Dad to take it back for a replacement, which he did but the new one was without the picture sleeve! I didn't have the parent albums for those tracks yet which is why I didn't like the skipping but if I'd known the picture sleeve would go....
