Greetings to the board from Robin M! I took care of my stepdad during a long decline--he was a big Beach Boys fan & I inherited many CDs and albums from him when he passed a couple of years ago, along with a wonderful old-school (I guess they call it "high end"...) music system which has brought me totally into the fold! Have lurked for awhile here and finally decided to take the plunge! Looking forward to reading more and learning more from this group...

I’d be interested to read what high end system your Dad listened to and what favorite Beach Boys albums that you both enjoyed. Thanks for for joining in with us.

Welcome, Robin. Glad to have you join. Looking forward to what your favorites are.
I had a family member leave behind a large collection. Got about 250 Cds, including
many box-sets - I finally got my hands on a copy of Zombies Heaven. One artist that
nobody seemed to want when we were splitting things up was Elvis Presley. Ended up
with over 75 items. Over 25 of those were from Follow That Dream, material made in
the '60s. Have almost all of his Soundtrack work with lots of extras/outtakes. 10 Elvis
box-sets! He was a very big Elvis fan. Big Beach Boys fan, too, but I already had that
stuff.
