Hi everyone, I have used the name ParksAsher for many years on different Beach Boys Message boards, but changed it to my real name fairly recently. I have been apart of Beach Boys Communities going back to the PSML Mailing List, and the Imagination Yahoo group. I grew up on the Beach Boys, in fact my Dad's record collection was all in great shape except for his Endless Summer records because as a small kid I would put them on and wasn't very careful with the needle.
I have always loved most of what they have done, including solo albums. I have a 45 collection that has almost everything. The main thing I am missing is the Cool, Cool, Water b/w Forever 45. I have the promo with Cool, Cool, Water, but have never been able to find the commercial single.
I have had the pleasure of meeting members of Brian's band, as well as Brian, Mike, Al, and Bruce.
I live in Cincinnati Ohio, and sat behind the Cincinnati Kid at a Brian Wilson show at the Taft Theater with my family back in 2015.

Hi, Matt! Welcome to the Endless Harmony message board! We'll put you down as "Matt H" then, instead of "Parksasher. I have three glaring holes in my collection. Like you, I'm missing the elusive U.S. "Cool Cool Water" 45 stock copy, the U.S. "Surf's Up" 45 stock copy, and the U.S. "Cuddle Up" 45 stock copy. I had a mint "Cuddle Up" 45, but like a big dufus, I traded it to some guy for the "Lord's Prayer" 45, thinking I could get another copy of CU quickly. It never happened......

Welcome Matt H, to the finest board going.
Sounds like you have one heck of a collection. My own vinyl hoard is pretty meagre – the vast majority of albums and comps and solo works, many multiple copies – but is mostly CD-based. One day I might itemise them… if I can get myself off the internet!
