Gene Clark's White Light, 1971 There are some incredibly beautiful songs on this album. I especially like "With Tomorrow", "Because Of You", "For A Spanish Guitar", "Where My Love Lies Asleep", and "Tears Of Rage". wata: Have you heard this version of "Tears Of Rage"?

No, I have never never heard of that version. I'm currently listening to it on Spotify - the track is tight and overall a good version.

Heard this at my son's house this evening. I was surprised to discover that the album from which "Under The Pressure" comes (and which I own!) is the third by The War on Drugs. I always thought it was their debut. (Don't tell me--Wikipedia is my friend. ) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_in_the_Dream

One of my favorite Bruce Springsteen songs. It might even fit in the Songs That The Beach Boys Should've Recorded thread:

Listened to each United States' state song. Ha, fun stuff. Fun stuff indeed. Two BB-related tracks in there ("Old Folks At Home" and "You Are My Sunshine") and one American Spring ("Tennessee Waltz"). Of course, my favourite is the unofficial state song for Washington, "Louie Louie"!

"Save It For Me" may as well be the favorite song by 4 Seasons. It starts with "sun rolling around heating sunny-season places" organ (I dubbed it this way due to this specific organ sound bringing that very image, same as in "Passing By" middle 8). It got great Frankie Vallie lead & beautiful music to boot.

Save It For Me,...great tune,....also Connie O is a fine listen. Anybody get into BTO's Blue Collar? Took a while for me to "get it" back then but that whole guitar riff bit from 4:45 on always got my attention. Great stuff...

There's so much good in the world, guys. Even if you're having a bad day, just try to imagine you're gonna be warmed by the sun's rays--it's not the end.

I've been listening to the Ron Burgundy podcast this morning. I'm not entirely sure whether I even think it's funny, but I guess I must, because I keep laughing pretty hard.

Been listening to this multiple times a day, along with Roger’s other solo material and all the Jellyfish I can handle. Alternating between that batch of stuff and continuing a big Beach Boys listen/read-a-thon (currently up to 1972-1974.)
