I thought of another one - some footage of Brian drumming. According to Desper, he was great.

I think the whole point of this thread is to list footage that we definitely know exists, or did exist. Not a hypothetical "what if" scenario. I wonder if Billy Hinsche filmed the entire concerts that were shown in parts in his 1974 documentary? Granted, the quality isn't the best(by a long shot), but it would still be cool to know if a complete show was filmed by him, or somebody using his equipment.

FOOTAGE CONTAINING THE SAND BOX. HOW COULD IT NOT HAVE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED IN SOME MANNER? HOW? HOW? HOW?!!?!?!?
Not sure about any movie footage, but it was certainly photographed. Some years back, when Marilyn and husband Daniel were the special guests at the annual Beach Boys Stomp Convention in Greenford, I asked her about it and she said there were something like half a dozen shots of the sandbox in her family album. Having had a few bevvies at the Visitation Centre bar, I optimistically asked her if she wouldn't mind e-mailing a couple of them to me. She said she was planning to include a couple in a proposed book covering her life with Brian, but didn't see a problem with letting me have some copies, until she looked across at Daniel and he'd already fixed me with one of those glares that say "It ain't happening, bonny lad". It didn't, and neither has the book.

My wish would be for the completion/release of their hour long film from their 1970 Australian tour. It was filmed by channel 7 to celebrate Australias bicentennary. In the film the boys are playing captain cooks crew who jumped ship to have a good time in town. The Beach Boys were in a car being chased by Dave Allenby who played captsin cook chasing them on a bicycle. I read about it from a Stephen McPharland article published in a small issue record collector magazine from 1994. Ever since reading about it I've wanted to see it.

That sounds although it would be amazing to see.

I have the short clip that has surfaced from that shoot and, to be honest, it looks like it was wisely shelved. It’s goofy slapstick with the boys being chased around. That being said-I’d love to see the unedited reels, which apparently include footage of their gig at surfers paradise. If the BBs were the commercial phenomenon that the Beatles continue to be-none of this footage would be lost
