This very silly billy song was released on the 1993 box set as "Games Two Can Play." On the Feel Flows box set, it's simply titled "Two Can Play". Is the latter an error, or was the title "Two Can Play" all along? I've tried to search the forum first given this is all kinda trivial, but no luck.
Please. I need to know.

Great question - I can't recall reading an explanation around the usual traps, but there's a photo of a tape box on page 33 of the 4 CD "box/book", the pasted on notation sheet showing track info is for: "Two Can Play", and "Add Some Music", and page 34 shows a the box spine of Sunflower 16 track Master Reel 336W listing "Two Can Play" as track 4. Perhaps "Games Two Can Play" was a bootlegger's assumption and it carried through the years. Until NOW!!!!! Attachments:

Titles are often shortened on tape boxes. Right below, you're looking at 'Add Some Music' instead of 'Add Some Music to Your Day'. The intended title as registered for publishing (and written down in several noteworthy places over the years) is 'Games Two Can Play'.

Recorded in 1969 during the 'Add Some Music/Sunflower' sessions. In the same vein as 'I Just Got My Pay', a somewhat minimalist recording. I've always loved the song, ever since I first heard it in the mid 80's as 'Games Two Can Play'. The lyrics refer to Joe South and his recording of ‘Games People Play’. A Sunflower outtake considered for possible inclusion on 'Adult Child'. Can you imagine the original 1969 recording of the song (with Brian's clear voice) amongst 1977's 'Adult Child' tracks with his cig/coke ravaged voice? Just like 'Good Time' from 1970 being included on 'Love You', it almost would have sounded out of place on 'Adult Child'. I like this version too:

So, does anyone know why the song registered for publishing titled "Games Two Can Play", a title also recorded in several noteworthy places over the years, was listed as “Two Can Play” on the Feel Flows comp of 2021 (see the back cover: track 26 & page 37 of the book)?

Probably just wasn't considered beyond what's written on the Sunflower boxes. Everybody makes oversights.

You can file that under "Song Title Inconsistencies". Such as is it "Sail On, Sailor" or "Sail On Sailor"...?

Guess for the same reason "Add Some Music to Your Day" is listed as "Add Some Music" on disc 3 of Good Vibrations.

Every time I search up the song I always type “Games” first before the rest of the title lol. Making playlists on Apple Music it doesn’t come up so I go “oh wait” and just type “two” first instead lol.
I just call it Games sometimes too. It’s easier that way. Two Can Play just sounds really odd by comparison.
