Well, how about a boxed set program perhaps. Ya know, 2 CD or some kind of theme based editions, then a juicy 15 CD collection for the diehards - I'm sure between Bat Out of Hell and BOH 2 there's at least a good 6 CDs of "stuff".
I'd love to hear 2 CD compl of by his early career, the big glam Meat Loaf collabs, and I'm equally fascinated by his work later work with Sisters of Mercy (!) and some of his heavy metal leanings/projects.
The Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion, Boyzone and Baz Manilow stuff, not so much...then again, while not my cup of tea, it's interesting to see how many bases he had covered.

I don't know enough of Steinman's music to comment in depth (I love "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad", probably for all the wrong reasons), but anyone whose "clients" include Barry M and Sisters of Mercy would guarantee a fascinating box set! My taste for Meat Loaf (and, by extension, Jim S) may have been blunted by seeing partygoers old enough to know better leaping around to "PBTDL".

My daughter was a big fan of Boyzone, not least of their 1998 international #1 and top selling single, "No Matter What", a Lloyd-Webber–Steinman composition. R.I.P. Stephen Gately, who shared lead vocals on it with Ronan Keating: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyzone

Well... one more thread to die a death in this seriously depopulated section of the forum. It's a shame, but there you are.
How about the magnificent "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" to see us out:
R.I.P. Meat Loaf, R.I.P. Jim Steinman...

How about the magnificent "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" to see us out: R.I.P. Meat Loaf, R.I.P. Jim Steinman... Personal Trivia: Meat Loaf lived in my home state of Connecticut for approximately 20 years. Never met him, though.
