Hi there! I was born in Southern California but moved to the Seattle area at a young age. I grew up a huge fan of 50s/60s/70s music, although I didn't start attempting to see these bands "live" until more recently, when I realized my window was closing to see my idols! My favorite artists of the area are Elvis, the Beatles, and of course, the Beach Boys.
The first Beach Boys show I saw was Mike & Bruce at Tulalip (Marysville, WA) in 2007. I had such a great time and realized I needed to do more of this. Since then, I've seen the Beach Boys and Brian's band numerous times when they visit the Northwest. I feel that I've been very fortunate, and feel that way each time I get to see them again!

Hi rschwertley:
Welcome to the Beach Boys Endless Harmony Forum. I also grew up in Southern California - in particular the San Fernando Valley. As an adult I lived in West L.A., Hawthorne, and Redondo Beach. My second wife and I then moved to Santa Cruz, and finally moved to the Seattle area in 2018. So I guess you should be welcoming me.
I've seen The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson in each place I've lived, including Smile at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, lastly seeing Brian doing the Friends tour at the Paramount Theater in September, 2019 in Seattle. Were you there? To tell the truth, Brian's singing was noticeably poorer at that show than his previous concerts I've attended. Since COVID hit, I haven't seen any shows by any artist.
