I never use Dropbox (whatever that may be) when uploading and tweaking posts. All the same, there are times while I'm adding italics/bold type or doing something similar, when the screen goes blank and I get some message about Dropbox. I then try to get back to where I was but the post I was creating has vanished!
Is there some way I can turn off Dropbox? This has only been happening since I switched from an increasingly dysfunctional Safari to Google Chrome.
(Will delete this topic if left unanswered for more than a day.)

Hi John, I cannot reproduce this on my end. Maybe, take a screenshot the next time it happens and send me a PM with it.

Thanks, Doc. It's behaving itself right now (touch wood).

Solved. The answer is just to click on the X in the top right-hand corner of the blacked-out "dropbox" screen and then do the same with the X in the following screen, and then you're back to where you were. It's all very basic. The thing is not to panic, which regrettably is my answer to most things these days.
