Kudos to Mike for never giving up to a Kokomo brand. Hope he makes it this time!

I was gob smacked when I discovered in that in the USA you can buy whole chickens-in-a-can - but Excitations-in-a-can takes civilisation to a new level of consumer enlightenment.
Hope they get Tom Cruise in for the ad-campaign (“after a hard day shaking drinks, I like to wind down with a long cool can of excitations”) (or Stamos if Tom’s n/a).

Mike shares the entrepreneurial spirit of all the modern hip hop artists-they are all involved in marketing and starting side businesses like alcohol brands. He was born at the wrong time-his contemporaries look down on that sort of thing but modern artists seem to love it

Someday Mike will have his own theme park, KokomoLand. You'll be able to enjoy the I Get Around rollercoaster, play in the Fun Fun Fun video arcade, dance with a Surfer Girl in the Good Vibrations nightclub, have a shootout with Heroes and Villains in Old West Land. There will be so much to do there, it will be guaranteed to Getcha Back.

Strong Catalina Coolers vibes from Mike. Lol. This episode was hilarious. I wound up adding "Catalina Breeze" to my yacht rock playlist.

A recent advertisement about 'Club Kokomo' with Mike and son Brian, on Fox5. 'Keepin' the Spirits Alive'.

A recent advertisement about 'Club Kokomo' with Mike and son Brian, on Fox5. 'Keepin' the Spirits Alive'. Amaze-balls!!! If that went out on U.K. TV, am pretty sure the station wouldn’t recover for months (on anything other than a shopping channel!)! Presumably that presenter got several crates of Kokomo spirits to wash the taste of payola away (or several cases of money)? Mike doesn’t really look overly comfortable.

I think Mike is becoming the Bob Hope or George Burns of rock and roll. It won't surprise me a bit if he is playing Royal Albert Hall on his 100th birthday. The question is, who will still be around to perform with him?

That was fun to watch. Glad to see Mike & Jackie doing well and looking so good!
Mike's slightly confused reaction to the interviewer's impromptu jingle was priceless. I had also never heard the story of the inspiration coming from the 'perfect mojito' bit. That was funny.
I don't drink alcohol, simply because I have a terrible reaction to it. A single sip of any booze, doesn't matter if it's wine, beer, etc, instantly makes me feel like sh*t. Makes my joints achy and my teeth hurt lol. But I really wanna try the Kokomo drinks

A recent advertisement about 'Club Kokomo' with Mike and son Brian, on Fox5. 'Keepin' the Spirits Alive'. COMMENT: I have never known Mike Love to indulge in any form of alcoholic drink. And true to form, in this video you don't see him actually take a drink or even sip from the glass he is given. He doesn't even smell it. Mike is a vegan, does not eat meat or anything from an animal. He does not do drugs nor alcoholic beverages. Unless he's changed his habits, this is just a money-making scheme based on the song. Mike's good health and stamina at 82 are outstanding and, in great part can be attributed to his attention of what he puts into his body. ~SWD

Whether or not he indulges into any occasional alcoholic drink? There's a couple images around that suggest he may have a glass of wine at times... Maybe only when he is home or on his birthday perhaps?

My two cents, I had lunch with Mike in London maybe five years ago and he drank only water. Likewise, all the times we've met backstage (2009 to date), never seen him drink alcohol.

COMMENT: Another know teetotaler who pushes an alcoholic drink is Donald Trump. Perhaps an empty can of Mike Love's Kokomo will someday equal the past President's brand. ~swd Empty bottle of Trump Vodka

Ahh ha! A little more promotion from the Love family including Mrs. Dr. Love. Mike doesn't mind a bit of a tipple it seems in his older age. In this footage, we even see Mike squig a little of his own product. Quite a fun watch.

In this footage, we even see Mike squig a little of his own product. Quite a fun watch. COMMENT to Rick: Yes, everyone is having a good laugh, but the last laugh is on us. If you watch closely, Mike never sips his drink. What we see is a cut-away shot of him holding a glass of KOKOMO mix while swishing something around in his mouth and then acknowledging how good it is. On close examination, this shot starts with Mike holding the drink glass close to his mouth, then as he lowers the glass swishes some liquid that could have already been previously placed in his mouth prior to the start of the edit. Notice that there is also a glass of water on the table. I can only assume this glass of water is what he is swishing around in his mouth. Since he is holding the glass and making the gesture that it is coming from his lips, we assume he just drank from that very glass. However, that is not what I see. Mike diplomatically says, "there both good" as if referring to both the glasses each of mixed drink and H2O. In the final shot, note the glass of water has been removed. ~swd

He looks pretty sharp without a hat. He could easily rock that look onstage should he chose so. Absolutely! You can forgive Mike for being self-conscious about his rapidly retreating hairline when younger, but it's all good now!

I don't mean to start any trouble here, but I had been told that Mike had some problems with drinking in earlier years. I don't know this for a fact, just what I heard.

You can forgive Mike for being self-conscious about his rapidly retreating hairline when younger, but it's all good now! He has those Swedish genes. The secret to what separates men who can rock the clean shaven look from those who can not is a square jawline, a contrasting shape to balance the silhouette, which Mike has. The human brain is wired to make quick decisions about others based off of symmetry. What makes Mike top tier in this category is his angelic facial features, as it is even more scarce to find a man that can look not only masculine, but pretty with sharp features. Those close ups in the California Dreamin’ music video highlight this quite nicely. Mike can not only rock the look, he is the standard.
