My teen-era band has a new single coming out this Saturday (June 13). Our last single came out in 1982. 38 years later, you would think this new single will surely be a dud. But get this, along with the weekly Rob and Carnie tune opening the Rodney Bingenheimer Show last night on SIRIUS XM (and a spin of the BBs doing 'Student Demonstration Time in the middle of the show), Rodney played my new single. Both sides. The b-side twice. I mean, what!?! We got three spins in one episode. I'm floored. If you are curious to hear it, it will 'debut' on the Michael Shelley show this Saturday (June 13th) on WFMU between 11am-1pm. The band is called The Rabies.

Wow, GF, you have the Rodney B stamp of approval! I hope it gets to sell a ton. Found your band's 1982 45 on YouTube:

Ah, Criminal. Not my favorite, although we thought it was great in 1982. The A-side of that single is better IMO. Believe it or not, that single sells for $175 a pop on Discogs. It's insane.

That's amazing! Found "Hologram" too--and the Labor Day EP. Very cool. I particularly like the organ in "She Saw You". therabies.bandcamp.com/music
