Cool song. It sounds pretty "sixties" but I haven't been able to find out when it was recorded. Any ideas, ed?

Cool song. It sounds pretty "sixties" but I haven't been able to find out when it was recorded. Any ideas, ed? My guess is an unfinished song from Moods of... (1966). The song is by Holland/Dozier/Holland. Gordy would have never gotten Marvin to agree to release this, but after Marvin died... Gordy did play. First released in 1986 on the Frankenstein (background vocals and instruments added), Motown Remembers Marvin Gaye
The recordings used were from 1963-1972. The 4-disc box-set shown in the video was also from 1986. Repackage, repackage, repackage.

"Trouble Man" is one of my very favorite Marvin tunes.
