What is Dennis’s tattoo? I never knew he had one. Originally, it read "Chris" (for Ms. McVie). Then, they broke up, and he had it retooled to read "Christ". He had another one on his left shoulder, maybe a little heart or something.

Doubt Dennis actually wrote it but the sig matches one I've seen from late September 1983 that's genuine.

I'm the one who uploaded that...it was printed in an issue of the Dennymania fanzine shortly after his death. Maybe his assistant Chris Kable wrote the message as Dennis dictated it, then he signed it himself?

"Chris" is Chris Duffy from San Jose CA., publisher of the "Friends Of Dennis Wilson Fan Club" fanzine in the early 80's. She showed me that letter after she received it in a post-marked envelope and the sig is definitely authentic. She always thought it was Dennis' signature at the bottom and I believe it is too. The rest of the writing? 99.9 % it's not Dennis'.

Great work, Emdeeh! Did you notice that Bruce is wearing a button, too, but I can't tell if it's yours.

Yes, Bruce is also wearing one of my buttons (or badges, as our UK friends say).

Or maybe it was Coleen McGovern, since she was with him in those last few days.

Does this mean there were alternate dust cover versions of Brian's '91 "autobio"?

Here's one that came up on Twitter the other day that perplexed me a little. What do their shirts say? I don't remember ever seeing them play in matching T-shirts before? 1965, Memorial Coliseum, Portland OR (my first post on this forum; hello!)

Ah, Ian, I found the answer in your post in the 'this week in BB history' thread. Interesting!

The pic of Brian in the pool with the gold record is just flat out iconic. As a kid, seeing that in the Leaf book, just personified the lifestyle for me!
