This from Mike's Facebook page (emphasis mine):
"In an effort to keep our fellow American neighbors safe, The Beach Boys’ tour dates originally scheduled between March 25, 2020 and May 1, 2020 are ALL officially postponed..."
Edit: and checking out various sites, including the venue itself, looks like the three Hollywood Bowl gigs on July 2nd-4th are off too.

WinStar in Oklahoma is now listing the show for May 1st as Nov. 21st.
Also a correction from BBFC, thanks to an observant fan who emailed us:
Turns out that New Buffalo is in Michigan, not New York.

According to a poster on an FB group, both the BB June 25th gig and Brian's on the 21st - both in Germany - have been postponed/cancelled. Checking. OK, so the poster (who is German and would thus know !) told me that all major events in the country are banned until the end of August. German ban on major events

OK, slightly bizarre - the July 2/3/4 gigs at the Hollywood Bowl have been off the venues website for a few weeks... but now they're back. Odd.

I can’t imagine a show this summer-much of the US is still under quarantine. Some States are reopening (for which they are receiving criticism) but with no vaccine I can’t see 12000 people squeezing into a concert venue together. Due to social distancing the venues would probably have to only allow a quarter of the usual audience in and even then in many States people probably wouldn’t feel safe. I think the summer concert scene is a complete bust in big cities

Outdoors is far safer than indoors - it is a matter of distance among the audience goers. July is pretty hot.
Florida has had pretty good control of this. Who knows? Oh - GOK - I guess we'll see.

Another postponement: Elk Grove Village , IL has cancelled their Mid-Summer Concert Series for this summer and rescheduled the entire lineup for next year.
The M&B show originally scheduled for July 28 will now be:
July 27, 2021 -- Elk Grove Village, IL -- Elk Grove Village Green

Might be significant, might not... but if you try to buy tickets to the BB gig in Hamar June 19th - you can't, even from TicketBastard. Interestingly, given my previous post re: Hollywood Bowl, TB also say "this event is no longer listed".

Interestingly, given my previous post re: Hollywood Bowl, TB also say "this event is no longer listed". What a tragedy - a summer without the BBs!Unthinkable! New and growing phenomena! The Drive in movie theater! Who'd a thunk! At least there is a BB song for it! Who knows - maybe live entertainment will go this way?

Thinking about the on-and-off-and-maybe-on Hollywood Bowl shows, I'm wondering how many 4th of July celebrations in the US will either be cancelled (like the Boston Pops) or scaled back significantly this year.

Thanks.
This comment from Mike's recent Rolling Stone interview might be taken as saying that all the European shows this year are off:
"We’re already taking the postponed shows from this year in Europe in June, and putting them in the next year. So more things are postponed rather than canceled."
TBH, I couldn't see them coming over for just two anyway...

Me neither, Andrew. Since we haven't heard from BRI on those two dates yet, I'm guessing that rescheduling is still a work in progress. As for the Hollywood Bowl shows, news reports suggest that L.A. County is likely to continue large-gathering restrictions into July. Edit: It's official, all Hollywood Bowl summer season shows are cancelled. variety.com/2020/music/news/hollywood-bowl-cancels-summer-season-1234605715/

Yeah... Mike's spoken to Alan, but not specifically about a 60th tour... Alan said a few weeks ago they're doing 20-30 dates... Brian's manager says no-one's spoken to him about a 60th tour... Bruce & David aren't even mentioned. Business as usual in the BB cosmos, then.
