Just saw that they are scheduled for New Orleans Jazz Fest First Weekend (April 25-28). Exact date and time will come out later. The Stones are headlining the Jazzfest. I guess Mick is no longer too chickenshit to share a stage with the BB. P.S. I stole the joke from someone else.

My prediction came true that they’ll be doing an Endless Summer themed tour. Mike just announced it on social media. The “Endless Summer Gold” tour.

It's being updated continiously today. There's an open day on Aug. 26th but I'm guessing based on their previous NW tour dates they'll be at the Britt Festival on that date, but can't announce it till the venue does. That's what happened the last two time they were there. They also have an open date on Aug. 23rd which is the day the Oregon State Fair opens, and they've played there the last couple of years. thebeachboys.com/events/

Guess we'll have to wait until February 21 to find out what the setlist will be. Will it have anything to do with the '74 Endless Summer release with all the greatest hits or is that just the name of the tour? They should change up the setlist(s) for this year. And please, finally drop 'Pisces Brothers' and maybe even 'Rockaway Beach' from the setlist! Something different, with some good 70's tracks thrown in on the deal. ultimateclassicrock.com/2024-beach-boys-tour-dates/

That would be cool, as I don't think I've ever heard "Girl Don't Tell Me" played live. Or "Girls on the Beach".

I'm sure they'll probably add Good Vibrations (1987 Endless Summer CD bonus track) and Barber Ann. A few falsetto leads for Ike! I like Ike.

Saw the Beach Boys Before the change of personnel last year at the Greek Theater and also at the casino in temecula. Will I get tickets the best possible at the Greek Theater for the upcoming show on August 30th? Absolutely yes.

If they are going to have the same setlist from the last 20 years, including Pisces Brother, no thanks!

I'm thinking that AGD is correct. A clue would be the background artwork of this tour schedule. Agree with you on 'Pisces Brother'. Why would Mike want to stop the momentum of greatest hits and unheard-before live album cuts? If you took a poll, I'll betcha fans would agree - leave it off the setlist.

What I'm seeing, especially since The Beatles' "Now and Then" is a better appreciation for Pisces Brothers. That's what I see. I still enjoy seeing the old footage and stills from that era.

The European set lists have been more interesting than the U.S. lists in the most recent years. Just look at setlist fm and see how many years “Fun, Fun, Fun” has been the encore. Heck, it was the encore when I saw them in 1986!

Heck, it was the encore when I saw them in 1986! It follows GOK so it is kind of nostalgic. This looks like a different kind of tour with a warm up act, so the setlist might be shorter and tighter but I don't see it out of the setlist. I'm fine with it. It is a nice nod to George and there is more inclusion of Beatles' photos than before. I used to be very jealous of the kind of setlist the UK had. But comparing it to the mid 60s when there were 4 acts, and only a dozen BB songs, I'm grateful, since everything is relative.

I am extremely excited for this tour!!!! I am very glad that there are two dates within a comfortable distance of where I live.
It all feels so special and full circle for me, because my Mom introduced me to The BBs via Endless Summer, which was her favorite album growing up.
So to be able to take her to a concert on their Endless Summer Gold tour just feels so spiritual. It will be a very special experience for us to share.
Without ES, I'm not sure if she'd have become a BBs fan, and therefore, I'm not sure I would've become a BBs fan. So I have this album to thank for helping me fall in love with the catalog and story of the greatest band to ever grace the stage. My life would be so different without The BBs. I truly believe they are the reason I'm in the music business today. So I'm extremely grateful for Endless Summer. It's an album that has gotten me through the most difficult situations of my life.
I'm so excited to be able to take my Mom to one of these shows. It just feels so full circle, as it relates to our lives.
I've heard different reports about whether Mason is the opening act or guesting with the band. Can anyone confirm which? Or maybe he'll be doing both?
I've been told by members of the touring band that they've been rehearsing quite a lot for this tour, and are looking forward to celebrating the special milestone. So I expect some spectacular concerts.

I love the Beatles of course, and it was nice hearing 'Pieces Brothers' the first time or two, but it's been done. For quite a few years now. If the intent is to break the momentum and give the band a little vocal rest, then I understand. It's Mike's song and he can do what he wants. But..... I'll go out on a limb here and suggest that with his slightly boastful introduction of the song about hanging out with George in India in 1968 is by now a little cumbersome.
Sorry to get off the premise of the thread - it's about the Mike & Bruce schedule I think.

They should work up a version of Beach Baby (First Class). It always sounded like the Beach Boys to me, and is one of my first BB-related memories.
