Maybe I should retitle this "Beach Boys NOT on tour".. I've a feeling all the state fairs will go. Looked this up, just then. New York will be on the "not" list. In my area, everything is cancelled. Both Ulster (first week of August), and Dutchess (last week of August) County Fairs, all 4th of July events in Albany, including all the Empire Plaza weekly events/concerts (mostly free) for the Summer have been cancelled. Didn't look up the State Fair, but probably. NYC's mayor is still in dreamland hopes of fireworks. If you can't get the hotels, bars, any food joint without outdoor seating, ect. to open, what ya got? No place to stay, and few places to eat. I have already cancelled my annual trip to Long Island. I'm bummed that Sam Beam cancelled his Kingston show, shit he has put off any touring until next year. Still up in the air: 2 December Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting is not confirmed. This is serious, with no end in sight. Mike and Brian, I'm sure, have enough money to get by. All the locals trying to get their cows and pigs to market likely will not. The prize winners sell for more.

FWIW, this was posted on the Golden State Theatre Facebook page, March 18th: It is with great sadness that we announce that we are postponing all concerts and artist appearances at the Golden State Theatre until local and statewide authorities deem it safe to host large scale events. Our governor has ordered statewide cancellations of events over 250 people, so we really have no other choice. If you have purchased tickets to one of our upcoming concerts, your purchase will remain active in our ticketing system and you will be assured of your same selected seats once your postponed show gets rescheduled. The artists for all of our upcoming shows have agreed to be rescheduled and none are being cancelled. Thank you for supporting us through this difficult time. We look forward to bringing you quality entertainment at our theatre soon. Since we are not cancelling any shows, merely rescheduling them, we will not be processing individual refund requests during this difficult time. If we are not able to deliver your show in a reasonable time frame given the global impact of the virus, and your show gets cancelled later this year, then everyone that bought a ticket will get an immediate refund. This is the only way we can stay in business during this difficult time and continue bringing you great shows in the future. Thank you for understanding. Also, this - Which California counties are reopening ? - would seem to indicate that no concerts of any type are going to happen in the state for the forseeable future.

"Since we are not cancelling any shows, merely rescheduling them, we will not be processing individual refund requests during this difficult time."
But we'll still earn the interest on the cash we're holding on to...

Bull. The Chelsea Hospital gig promoters gave the url for ticket refunds as soon as it was cancelled, then sent me an email saying it could be 30 working days. A good week less than that got another one saying my refund was approved and the money (including the transaction fee !) should be in my account within the next 14 working days: in fact it was done less than 48 hours later.

Andrew, re the Rochester Hills date cancellation -- what's your source for that one? The venue's website still has the show listed as going on.
Mike Love's site, however, doesn't have it listed. But then he's got a big chunk of dates missing there and some listed that we know have been cancelled.
