Doubt they'll be cancelling just the one date...
Edit: just announced that Japan shows cancelled too.

Not counting on these shows going ahead anymore (not as originally scheduled, nor later in the year) - and rightly so - uncertain and difficult times, and here in the UK, the worst is yet to come.

Germany has banned all major events until the end of August: that includes concerts, so the German leg of Brian's summer European tour is off. The first gig, in Denmark, is off too as the Heartland festival (June 29th) has been cancelled for this year.
Edit: looks like the Belgian gig may be off too, as Belgium has also cancelled all "major events"... however the site still lists it as taking place. Confused ?

More confusion: here's a Google translation of pertinent bits of.the CV-19 statement from the venue of Brian's Belgian gig. Emphasis mine:
"You may have already heard that the National Security Council decided not to hold major events in Belgium until August 31. This means that the festival summer of 2020 will not continue. Something that hits us very hard as music lovers."
OK, all very black and white: no major events ergo, no summer shows. But wait...
"It is still unclear what the new measures will mean for OLT Rivierenhof's summer. We continue to monitor the situation closely. As soon as there is more clarity about the planned concerts in the summer, ticket holders will receive a message."
Huh ? Now, this might be down to a mistranslation, but all the rest reads like good English. No. Major. Events. Unless they're going to have people perform in an empty arena and livestream the gig. Nah. it's off.

I assume the more clarity thing is as to whether they'll be cancelling the gigs or rescheduling them. They could be hoping to put them on a few months later, rather than cancel altogether.

"As soon as there is more clarity about the planned concerts in the summer..."
Not sure what they're missing here - there will be no concerts until at best September 1st, or in other words, no gigs in the summer.

Nah. it's off. I am Dutch, just read the original statement, what it's trying to say is "we're not sure what's going to happen to our summer festival" (rather than "our festival this summer"). Google Translator would obviously not pick this up. The rest of the statement makes it perfectly clear that the festival will definitely not be taking place this summer, and they're obviously disappointed etc. etc.
Hope this makes sense!

Correct, rescheduled from June 10th this year.

I got that alert, but then also received one advertising the June 10 date as a new event. I think maybe someone jumped the gun on the official announcement, and unrescheduled it.

Yup, I got another email this morning pushing the original date. The words "piss-up" and "brewery" spring to mind... Also, at Leeds Town Hall, between now and mid-July, there's only one scheduled show that's still listed as going ahead - go on, guess which one.

Yesterday the Dutch ban on major events was extended to the end of August, so there goes the Amsterdam and Gronigen gigs.
Edit: sometimes I can be so dumb I amaze even myself. The reason for the Glasgow gig being postponed so long ago only just dawned on me: it's currently a temporary NHS hospital.

There was no Liverpool date this year. Brand new show. Is it listed as GH? PS 55th? C&TP anniversary? Maybe indicates that a new album might be out to promote by then?

There was no Liverpool date this year. Brand new show. Is it listed as GH? PS 55th? C&TP anniversary? Maybe indicates that a new album might be out to promote by then? Answered my own question: Good Vibrations: Greatest Hits Live Brian Wilson returns to Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, to perform his greatest hits and fan favourites from his career with The Beach Boys and as a solo artist. With his innovative vocal and instrumental arrangements for major hits, including 'I Get Around', 'California Girls', 'Wouldn’t It Be Nice', 'God Only Knows', and the No. 1 smash 'Good Vibrations', Wilson established The Beach Boys as America’s preeminent band of the 1960's. He has also achieved great success as a solo artist with 11 of his own albums released to-date, including the 2004 completion of an album he first began recording in the 60's, the Grammy award-winning Brian Wilson Presents Smile. I couldn't make the original Glasgow show, even though I could have got row D tickets on presale.
I have been trying to book online for the rescheduled gig. It won't let me and keeps saying, "Check internet connection" which is fine!
Anyone else had the same problem?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the tickets roll over to 2021. I saw that they do for the RAH.

I checked the tickets for Bridgewater Hall (I had a front row seat for the original date) and there were no stalls tickets available, but plenty of tickets for the other areas, so it looks like they sold out of stalls seats for the original date.

What's the story on Azkena Rock Festival 2020? I notice the listing here as cancelled -- which is what I expect to happen -- but the event's website still has everything listed as if nothing has changed and the show is still going on. Did Spain announce anything official about large gatherings this summer?
