Down further to #139 today. 249 total weeks on the chart which puts them at #35 in that ranking. Not bad for an album that's close to 18 years old.
For comparison, this time last year the album was at #154 and would go on to peak at #85 during a 32-week chart run.

Once again, it is so sad that the public hasn't been informed that the band's legacy has repeatedly been diminished over the decades until it collapsed long ago at the tippy top of most enduring and revered and relevant legacies.
"Sad really" sighed the pearl-clutchers collectively as they clutched their...well, you know...

I have been playing it 2 or 3 times A-day up-and-down the coast of Southern California between Santa Monica pier and the San Clemente pier. This is where it was born and this is where it will live eternally.

In the history of the charts has there been any recording act that has spanned 59 years between its first chart album and its most recent charted album? Elvis ? [edit] Yup, thought so: his first charting album, Elvis Presley, was in spring 1956 on the Billboard Best-Selling Pop Albums charts, the forerunner of the Top 200, and his most recent was The Essential Elvis Presley, last charting on May 8th this year. A chart career of over 65 years.
