If anyone is interested, the head of parks and recreations for the city of Hawthorne is still accepting donations to have bricks inscribed in the Beach Boys monument. It's 20 characters for a brick on the east side of the monument, not facing front but facing to the right, and that's $150. The brickworker will only do 10 at a time and so far they have a list of five, I think I might be 6, and when they get 10 they'll have them done. 20 characters including spaces so has to be quite a short message.
If anyone's interested I could pass along the contact information which is displayed on a small printed sign in the fence on the right of the monument itself. I didn't check to see whether that information is available online, as I just read it off the sign.
It might be difficult for those not in the states to contribute because they want a check mailed to them and don't seem to be dealing with credit cards or any of the money transfer apps.
I stopped as by there the other day just on General principle. It's a very moving experience if you've never been there.

Jk,
Yes that is all the information. I called the number on the sign and talked directly to Richard who's a real nice fella , and he had given me his email address but thank you so much for finding all the complete information for the members of our community.
I'm waiting until I get paid again to fill out a form for me and one of my mates from Oxford who had visited here and so loves the beach boys. Looking forward to a brick there one day and certainly worth the $150 for the honor. Thanks again for digging that out and certainly it's fun thing to think of participating in.
