It figures. I bought the hi-res download, and burned a CD. I haven't even listened to it yet!

Thanks for the heads up, John. Glad I waited. This is going to be worth the wait. Don't really like download-only releases that have to be burned to disc. I do love watching the Blu-ray, but so many songs were left out.
Cost at Amazon US is $15 +tax. I'm sorted and ordered.
I'll do a heads up: If any of you Who fans want the Big-box Who Sell Out, Amazon US is selling it for under 60 bucks! Good deal but I didn't bite. Already have the 2-Cd Deluxe - that's deluxe enough for me.

I too got a high-res download version. Not sure this is worth it to me to have on a physical medium, but hey, if my wife wants it, we'll get it.

Have the 2-Cd Deluxe for that, as well. Who's Next Deluxe gave us a concert and the New York Record Plant session. What is left? I don't need demos. The Kids Are Alright DVD was major, but the Deluxe Live At Leeds... I hardly ever listen to. What I had always wanted - the Isle of Wight 1970 DVD, and they did that - the best of the Tommy music for me. I like that more than any of their live shows, restored, and I love the 5.1 remix. Have all the different boxes of rarities and packages. I don't need any more books, posters and whistles. Who Sell Out is my favorite, and I did give the new box a listen. Mono was a let down - Stereo is the best way to listen, and some of those outtakes are so scrapping the bottom... If the Who is waiting for me to give them any more money they're too late. Only thing that I can think of is the Smothers Brothers songs on DVD.

I will be buying this. I enjoy the download but always nice to have physical product. A bit of a weird hodgepodge of material but as a completist, I have bought lesser Brian related material in the past. And I quite enjoy a few of these tracks.
Has anyone found a decent price to buy this movie on bluray (I have watched it already - rented it digitally) but I want a physical copy. Amazon Canada only has it for $50 ish dollars. Ouch.

Yup, have the Who’s Next Deluxe, and Pete Townshend’s three Scoop CD collections, along with a bootleg or two … the new release will be some kind of Lifehouse/Who’s Next package. I see it as their Smile album – things just weren’t advanced enough at the time to enable Townshend to see it through to completion. Intrigued as to what they’ll come with this time. Budget’s my limiting factor, having the kids at home and having quit my “job” without a safety net, but hey ho! www.loudersound.com/news/after-50-years-pete-townshend-hopes-to-recover-lost-who-song-ambition-for-long-overdue-lifehouse-release

I wouldn't put my knackers on the line expecting great liner notes, as once again, a lot of those things have become something on the past with a lot of releases. A lot of CD/Album releases are bare bones with little to nothing on them at all. Totally unrelated to Brian, but I bought the last couple Keith Urban albums on vinyl, and other than a tracklist, the records came in plain white sleeves, there was no inlay, no lyrics, no songwriting credits, musician credits, production credits. Nothing! Zilch! A big artist like that, and the packaging and details are just 'meh'.

Do you have that one? It has some essential pieces from that era that like the rare b-side "Greyhound Girl" and "Teenage Wasteland" (not to be confused, of course, with "Baba O'Riley"). I seem to remember that I saw Pete posted a comment on Instagram where he said something like, "the record company didn't like 'Ambition' so it won't be on the new set." I guess we will see about that. It seemed to me to be an unfinished song from that era that Pete apparently completed? Maybe we'll hear more about the story soon. I wonder if the problem is fidelity (from a damaged tape?) or the way Pete finished it or maybe just the record company not liking it as a song. Though I'd find it weird that a record company would block a completely unreleased song from a box set in a world where some bands are releasing scraps of scraps on new box sets and compilations. Also, I feel like I heard a rumor that the new Who set won't be released until next year now. I surely hope it won't be delayed 'til then but if so, I guess we'll just have to wait.

You buy everything Beach Boys related anyway, Rich! True Story Mikie! I buy it all. If loving The Beach Boys is wrong, I don't wanna be right! My wife likes to call me a hoarder, I prefer the term passionate fan / completist. The Brian Wilson Long Promised Road BLU - RAY was for some strange reason NOT released in Canada and the cheapest price to buy it via Amazon Canada is currently $46.15. Brutal. Perhaps it will be later (like the cd soundtrack). Debating if I should wait and see. But all Beach Boys related releases need to be on my shelves in a timely fashion or I start acting like a twitching crack baby in withdrawal... Thanks for posting the Deep Discount link. Perhaps they offer Canadian shipping. I have already watched the Long Promised Road doc via a streaming service but I have to have a hard copy on blu-ray. Looks like it won't be cheap no matter where I pull the trigger from once exchange rate and shipping is factored in! I do appreciate the help though!

Nothing on Amazon UK yet… wonder if this is US only? Took them a while to get Feel Flows listed, remember? Not always the quickest or most reliable in that sense. Then again, I can't see it listed yet by any other UK based music shop either?

Then again, I can't see it listed yet by any other UK based music shop either? Am kinda glass-half-empty (me? Really? Oh la la!) cos it’s a small US label and might not have any distribution/access to the UK market. Someone prove me wrong, please!

$21.14 from Amazon US to the UK for the CD (incl. shipping and no import fees due). That's just over £17. Not bad at all.

Now this LPR Soundtrack was released 3 days ago, and one would think it would be easy to pick up and buy hey? At this point in time, I have two options, a purchase from Amazon UK/US, which with shipping, arrives with a US$35.00 price tag! Yikes!
The other is 'one' seller on eBay, who wants US$25.00 a copy including shipping. That's still a bit rich for my blood, and seems a lot for a CD these days. This should be in every large music retailer all over the world.
What's happened to this release? Where are all the independent stores and where are all the eBay sellers? It's a brand new release which seems will fall down the cracks and may disappear without a trace sooner than you think... Where are they all?

Amazon U.K. now listing it at £22.98, and “Temporarily out of stock”.
Ah well.
