Any chance of us getting the studio version of the full Beach Boys singing The Spirit Of Rock And Roll as heard on the 25th Anniversary Special but without the live audio overdub?
Not the Brian solo demos with dylan etc.

Hi Mark and Alan, Why were the albums proper not given remixes for Feel Flows? I to am interested and wonder if there is a possibility of getting these albums remixed in the future

Daryl Dragon… I had a chance to talk with him at length years ago about Dennis’ music, and he was constantly surprised at what Dennis would come up with. He was really kind of in awe of Dennis instinctive, untrained musical talents, and tended to downplay his own creative role in their collaborations. He saw himself more as a facilitator, I think. I think they definitely inspired each other. I’m just glad we’re finally gettng the opportunity to get a lot of that music out there.

Is it possible to one day see the release of the original sunflower era mixes of tracks like Big Sur, Help and Take a Load off Your Feet?

I would imagine remastering with analog and mono tapes- in hopes of sometimes making them stereo, can be time consuming. Is there a different process needed to produce the same results for the new Vinyl record releases? When mastering how does one keep the analog feel in a digital world? we are always trying to stay true to the sound of the recordings, and the fact that we source from hi-res digital masters doesn't affect that. In fact I feel that the technology I can use is very beneficial both sonically and interns of the flexibility in my workflow. I spent years making records where the technology got in the way of the creativity in mixing, and that is no longer the case with digital , plus there are many techniques that are near or totally impossible to achieve except when working in the digital world

Greetingz: My name is Jeff Winner, and I have a minor fixation on Murry. Can we pls get more Murry stuff, like a double comp album, incl. his commercials, an elaborate book, etc.?
Thank you.
I'll take my answer off the air.

Are there any plans to make Still Cruisin' and Summer in Paradise available on streaming services in time for the 60th anniversary, or is there a reason why they aren't on there already?

Alan and Mark, I’m very excited about this collection coming out, especially all the Dennis Wilson material. No question, I just want to say THANK YOU for your efforts in getting these releases out.

How closely did you both work with Brian, Mike, Al and Bruce during this release?

Mark & Alan, here's a early question from one of our British fans, Mopp, who's in bed right now and couldn't make it:
With the sublime new acapella mix for 'Til I Die, I noticed that the "lead" was pulled back by the end to leave the backing parts on their own. I'm wondering if this is the model for future acapella mixes you'll be doing? I for one would love to hear something similar done for Surf's Up, letting each individual track of the coda be heard on its own (possibly tacked on to a release of Brian's lead on its own).

My favorite era of Beach Boys music changes daily. Sometimes hourly. Sometimes ALL SUMMER LONG is my favorite album, an hour Jared it might be SUNFLOWER, or PET SOUNDS or LOVE YOU…
That’s the thing about this group - they did so many kinds of music so well…

Could we get a shout out to Desper? Steve Desper does deserve so much credit. Sunflower and Surf's Up sound great because of Steve's engineering and mixing savvy. Alan and Mark have done a masterful job …

Who wins in a fist fight? Stamos or Mike McGrath? Sugar Ray would win, easily.
