Night Lights is the business. Great guitar work there from Jim Hall (known to me from Jimmy Guiffre's "The Train And The River"). Of course, a millilitre or two of the old Laphroaig helps! The Blue Nile's Hats is lined up for tonight. Thanks for these, ed.

In the wee small hours by Sinatra. Its a gem. Also Judy Collins greatest hits is a very calming album. And of course Pet Sounds until the train horn....

My late-night Frank album would be Moonlight Sinatra (the title helps!). This is the gorgeous closing track: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonlight_Sinatra
